Changing shifts and a farewell
Dear Commanders,

today is the day I resign my duty at Command & Conquer and head out to seek new challenges. I will be leaving Envision and the game team at the end of this week and hereby formally say goodbye to all of you, and introduce you to the new people around.

It was a tremendous pleasure working with the game and such a passionate community. A dedicated bunch of folks as you is hard to find and truly special.
I now have the opportunity to head out for a new adventure which really sounds well to me and therefore decided to leave the game behind. However, I obviously don't want to just step out and leave you in the dark. We were talking a lot in recent weeks about the future of the game and who's taking the lead on the community and we decided that nobody would be a better fit than the developers and people behind Envision themselves. Primarily, a person with alias Pitchfork will be seen around the forum who will further on be present on the forums. We also make sure that our moderator team has a good and steady dialogue with the developers to continue bringing your needs, demands, and issues to where they belong for fast resolving.

I am absolute optimistic and know that there are many bright days ahead for the game with these people at it. I am sure they will introduce themselves very shortly to all of you.

With that being said, it was a pleasure serving you and working on this game and I hope and wish to you, the very best of times ahead.

Life goes on, the game goes on. Remember the good times, learn from the bad times. Good luck to you in your new role and direction. You will be missed by the community here.

We all wish you well.

A welcome to PITCHFORKA who has a lot to live up to, and a lot of work to do to match the legacy left behind.

I am not an employee of EA/Envision and the views expressed are my own.

Thanks David for the good work you did for this game and this great community.

Let me quickly reintroduce myself: I am Dirk Ringe, head of Envision Entertainment and before that head of EA Phenomic. In this role I have been involved with C&C Tiberium Alliances from the beginning, but more from the background. I am now moving more into a front role and will make myself shown in this forum more often. Feel free to reach out to me in case of problems.
