Альянс Reign of Fire наполовину русскоязычный. Русским составом руководит CiC_TsKas. Насчет смысла не знаю.

в каком секторе высаживается альянс? и во сколько по московскому времени страртует серв?

RE: October competitive server
I think we got ourselves pretty good server
Unfortunately Mara Salvatrucha, Chaos, Hydra decided to go to Wrath 10 that started same day
But since both server started at same day (just 5 hours difference - not relevant after 16 days) we can see how competitive Tib18 compare to Wrath 10

Personal rankings:
Tib18 -
https://gyazo.com/2277d39c4b46cb68e675dd5f450e3f63
Wrath10
https://gyazo.com/84d5ecb6a5bc39fad9d5486cafed8763

So no one from W10 top10 will make Tib18 top10
On another hand Rank 33 player from Tib18 will make top10 on w10

Alliance rankings
Tib18 - https://gyazo.com/160ad811c36633b3df94d3ac6b9de899
W10 - https://gyazo.com/666d742b53c7a25de5e00a492d13fd92

So #1 on w10 Mara would be just #3 on tib18
And rank 12 alliance on tib18 will make top5 on w10

Digging
Its harder to compare since servers got different sizes but lets check level of FB people sitting in right now
So
Tib18 - #1 in distance rankings
https://gyazo.com/f09a925d239afae7817f7eab80ce67ec
Sitting in bases 33-34

Wrath10
https://gyazo.com/297e240a51b138989e1eb5efbc1a49e4
Sitting in bases 28-29

I say difference is quite big
Anyway i wanna say that i feel pretty good about tib18. It looks like we all gonna have a lot of fun and long nice pvp.
Good luck and enjoy game!

RE: October competitive server
Dear Master Bloody,

Can you (or anyone else) spot the differences?

(only rank 1-5 alliances...)

Nevermind, I'll help you: Tiberian 18: 23298 (registered) players | Wrath 10: 7530 (registered) players

Do you really want to compare a 25 k world (officially 93% crowded) with a 10 k one (officially 75% crowded)?

[YES, Sir! These are just the official numbers.. Sorry I couldnt bother to count the inactive players]

And I think you know there are tiny differences in map scale... ;-)

And last but not least you cannot compare Tib18 alliances to Wrath 10, as (to my knowledge - sorry I might be wrong) no Wrath 10 alliance uses mass multi accounts.

By the way... are the Tiberian 18 alliances stats worth anything? Nope. Cause there is no real "Reign of Fire" alliance - only tons of separate "I-got-enough-time-to-have-my-personal-multi-farming-alliance"-alliances (with some kind of RoF tag).

The day when RoF decides to put all "real" accounts together in one "real" alliance... Then you can see the difference between classic alliances (no or only little use of multi accounts) and post-TA-alliances (massive use of multi accounts).

Think about it.

Or do you like to compare bananas with apples?

Regards,

Simon

PS: Did you start Wrath 10 with an account? Nice starting layout they got - don't you think so? Too bad Tib18 got a different one...

Being less crowded is not really a bad thing as u make it out to be. Less people means more freedom to play in whichever territory suits an alliance. Better layouts for one, and no fear of early wars.

And what makes u think every alliance on tib 18 uses mass multi-accounts?

RE: October competitive server
Bloody just dropped base 5, on day 22. Typically for the best of players it takes 45 days or so.

Its just insane. And its obvious to me, he is not himself using tons of alts to feed his super account. The entire family of alliance is feeding this guy big bases, I suppose in return he will save up a ton of RT to murder any opposition. How is it fun for a bunch of guys to help create one big account they don't play with is a mystery to me!

The biggest concern to me is, while this strategy does not break any rules as far as I can tell, it definitely sucks for rest of the alliances. Only counter strategy I can think of is, let them run to centre and then disallow any of RoF from getting codes but for that all the rest of the alliances must work together. Even then the best result would be a stalemate.

This approach by bloody definitely gives the developers to think about how the loot from forgotten bases should be shared. Pre-hitting bases seem to be becoming the new fad and exploit. The only solution is change how the loot is shared based on how many attacks were made on a base. e.g. if a base took too many attacks to be taken down, the resources on that base should reduce proportionally. That should take care of pre-hitting.

Wrath10

So no one from W10 top10 will make Tib18 top10
On another hand Rank 63 (!!!!!) player from Tib18 will make top10 on w10
41 people from tib18 dropped 4th
3 people from w10 dropped 4th

Alliance rankings
Tib18 - https://gyazo.com/f3e3c3c83b7e3c75c5c7781616a22cd5
W10 - https://gyazo.com/c03def51258066870c4b2b506c8fe1c8

Wrath10

Sitting in bases 32-33

I think above info clearly show difference between competitive and usual server Smile

You taking quite dangerous road here. Let me continue what gonna happen if we follow that road
'Enemy alliance more organized than my alliance, my cic can't organize my teammates properly - developers please change game rules in such a way that organized team digging become impossible. That should take care of good organized teams'
'Enemy player simming bases better than me, i cant sim bases that good - developers change rules in such a way that every hit will cost at least 3 hours no matter how good you sim. That should take care of good players'
'Enemy players spend a lot of time in game and farm extremely efficient, i cant spend that much time in game and as a result i cant farm like they do - developers change rules in such a way that no one can be in game more that 1 hour a day. That should take care of....'

Do you really wanna follow that road?

Both world started at same day. At least 2 alliances from w10 originally planned to start tib18 but change their minds at last moment due to "too much competition". One more alliance was invited to tib18 but decided to go to w10.
Number of people that not part of top alliance totally irrelevant
Layout - yes, pretty bad layout can slow down development for day or two, but starting layout on tib18 not that good - no 6touch tib, no double 5, not even 4 touch tib. So yes, tib18 layout slightly better than w10 starting layout but only slightly, still everyone switching main bases to another layout.
As of rest of your post i can only say that repeating mantra "ROF is multiaccounters" will help you win no more than mantra "Nvidia is autosimmers and have developers in pocket" helped Nvidia opponents win last WCS...

What u do is not about efficiency or organizational skills - its taking a legitimate approach to such an extreme that it becomes an exploit. Pre-hitting bases is not fun, but a lot of people used to do it, because often times it was efficient. I have seen some of the nose-uppity nvidia-UV crowd do it as well, who now profess their utter dislike for the method.

Now the pre-hitting is not even efficient because u keep attacking the same base for hours. Its not fun, mindless, mechanical and dreary method to play the game.

Why was account eating banned, after all every player could do it! It was because some player accounts become much stronger using other accounts and gave those accounts an unfair advantage over others. Now u have gone and rediscovered account eating. U may call your method legitimate way of creating super-accounts but lets recognize for what it is - its an exploit.

I had taken a passing interest in how well RoF did on tib 10, and was honestly impressed by the innovative approach, but u just had to go and rub people's noses in by landing 5th in 22 days.

RP farming, account eating all were fine when it was done in moderation. It became a problem when taken to extremes and became an exploit. What u are doing is so far from moderation that it is an exploit. And I believe it should be stopped, PERIOD.

RE: October competitive server
How can you compare account eating and rpfarming (basically unlimited free resources and rp without any effort at all) to hard team work during digging that brings high level POIs to alliance? Nothing common at all.
Instead of trying finding weak points in opponent strategy (and you can find it easily - for example look at alliance rankings) you asking developers to change rules.
About fun: i think a lot of people will disagree with you. . A lot of people in TS all the time hitting bases together - what could be more fun than that? Only pvp Smile.
I personally hate Farming or Wave-ridding. I think (and pretty sure 95% of people in that game will agree) that is most boring part of the game But i am not asking developers to change rules to make farming and wave ridding inefficient. I just making sure no one can create 0-wave zone for cash bases and as a result no more wave-ridding.
