Why change inactive from 30 days to 6months?

Its not like ur dead forever. Just means players hv to respawn if they ever login. 6 months too long. Maybe 60 days if u dont want worlds looking so empty.. but half a year?

While u at it disable ability to sub longer then 30 days. Older worlds players hv subs for years.

lol , change 30days to 20 days , all world is full player inactive !!

6 months is too much. I can ditch an account. Leave for a another server, go to that server, beat that server and come back and log in before i get ghosted on a old server?

can somebody actually give a rational for this?

I agree - if it works as described, it should be 30days. The 'problem' seems to me to be that it didn't work as described 'on the tin' - it ghosted on some worlds and not on others. I actually like it on worlds where the rank is 'inactive' and you then know it's 'safe' to kill if the alliance is made of mainly inactives. This is on worlds < 60 where they've existed for a very long time!

30 days should be sufficient but not more than 60 days. An announcement that some given inactive world will be closed to make server resources available for new worlds particularly if all players have been involved in acquiring a badge or haven't logged on for a year (that may never happen) would be adequate respect for players. Satellite crashes for inactive players first might be a better option. Would give players a few days to grab remaining resources if they are so inclined.

We are finalizing the version and will update this patchnotes next week. A couple of bugs brought us to some more changes and fixes. We are today deploying the latest version to the PTE and if running smoothly, the update will very soon roll out to all worlds.

A suitable 'endgame' that ends the game on a world is needed. Reducing the bases sitting around that are inactive has made it simpler to recruit those still active and help them get badges on older worlds.

If resources need to be freed, an announcement now that worlds with less than X players will explode next time the fortress is killed would suffice. Or on old worlds (pre-75) that the tacictus is about to explode, the world will be destroyed unless the fortress is killed in Y days. Some such story line........ The announcement could be made now as advanced warning of the story line for 2016 or even 2017 depending on how the financial side of old worlds is managed.
