Get your tips & hints in the game!
Attention Commanders!!

We are seeking to add tips and/or hints to the Tiberium Alliances loading screen, if that happens your tips could be featured. So if you want to help your fellow soldiers out with your extensive knowledge of CCTA? Why not share with them that knowledge through your very own tip of the week!

Each week, on Fridays, we will choose 3 tips from this suggestion thread and highlight them for all to see. The 3 chosen will receive 2000 TA Funds.

As mentioned if your tip/hint is good enough, it may even be featured in the game!!!!!

It doesn't have to be a certain skill either, your tip could serve as a simple pick me up or a joke for fellow commanders . A one liner can be a great incentive before heading into battle.

So.... What tips/hints do you have to share?

Rules:
  • Please try and keep the tips/posts short & to the point!
  • You may only post 1 tip at a time and a maximum of 2 a week.

RE: Do you have any Tips?
If your playing as NOD your infantry is your greatest weapon. If your playing as GDI your Armour is your greatest weapon. If you work together your teamwork is your greatest weapon.

They say the best defense is a good offence... But without defense you wont have the chance to mount an offence.

Continuous production
Continuous production is the production you get from silos and accumulators. It is important to have continuous production as high as possible.
Why:
1. Continuous production doesn't pause when you move your bases or when After you re-spawn your base.
2. Continuous production is cheaper in the long run to get.
How:
1. Upgrade your silos that touch the most tib. fields first because tib is needed to upgrade everything. You need lots of tib.
- For silos that touch 5 tibs - lvl them up 15x higher than the harvester’s
- For silos that touch 4 tibs - lvl them up 10 - 12 higher than the harvester’s.
- For Silos that touch 3 tibs - lvl them up 6-8 higher than the harvester’s
- You should generally not have silos that touch only 2 tibs.
2. Upgrade your accumulators as high as you can. Try to get them 15x higher than the power plants.
3. Get your harvesters to lvl 12 and then focus on the silos to the ratios listed above.

RE: Do you have any Tips?
„Need help? Check the Official EA Forum.“

„Got a problem? Did you try to turn it off and on again?“

„You only need to kill the Construction Yard to get all resources out of a base (PvE).“

„You need a Offense minimum six level below the Tunnellevel to spawn Outposts.“

„Beware of the Forgotten“

ps: i don't want any Funds - these are for free Smile

RE: Do you have any Tips?
Just imagine it could be a sort of "Loading Screen Tip" like some already know from games like World of Warcraft, Battleforge or other.

So try to keep it in this scheme. Smile

RE: Do you have any Tips?
Your power production dictates how fast the overall growth of your base is! (Think about it, its deep!)

Hint: Its the only resource that cannot be obtained through transfer or looting!

RE: Do you have any Tips?
Scrubs, Oil slick, Swamps and Woods: They were not coded into the game for the sole purpose of making your life defending your base difficult! Use them wisely! Realize that they slow down ALL tanks and infantry. Priotrize the spot behind it for Blackhands or ZTs. Because of the scrubs, swamps or woods, the tanks will march slowly, allowing your blackhand/ZT to melt it before it can run it over. Tanks cause the max damage when they are running over the infantry + shooting it.

Please ask for clarification if needed!
