Not all defenses. Yours has too many towers all lined up for destruction. Salamanders/Kodiaks have always been good for it but now salamanders are even better. If you relied more on rocket militants, that wouldn´t have happened.
Black hands are also badly located. Rework your defense, think about how would you attack it and place your units to prevent that plan, rinse and repeat until you are satisfied.

Very good job, it's almost finished.
Swap your CY and DF. Move your SAM and MG one spot to the left. You can leave your gattling cannon where it is now ot move it above where the SAM will be. This placement covers all the rightmost column (path to your CY).

Thumbs up.
Currently we have peace, so I sacrificed DF, DHQ, and support for sake of power production. In case of war I would rearrange my important buildings behind the defense line.
What do you think about the defense design? any weakness: http://cncopt.com/k83e
having pitbull upgrade.

Living without DF is a very risky move. DF, DHQ and support are costly buildings and chances are that you won't be able to rebuild them to the necessary level before being attacked if a sudden war outbreaks.
Putting those considerations aside, you should move your strongest buildings in front of your CY and your CC to the back of the base. Also, you will be defending just the CY (3 columns) but your units spread across 7 columns.
Your last line of defense should be able to stop the bombers when all the other lines fall. Missile squads lack range and power to kill a wave of bombers on time.
You also want your SAM to cover the rightmost column. A bomber traveling directly to your CY will be under fire all the way.
Walls in front of 1,5 range units don't do much. Walls that slow attackers while they are under artillery fire are helpful (your artillery fires behind the walls, not in front).
Imagine sending three mammoths against your front line; a lone predator and two MS won't do much.
Redesign your defense thinking in heavily protecting just your CY. If you get enough time to redeploy a DF, you will have time to rearrange your units to cover the wider area.
Curious if there are optimizations for my defenses. All bases are about the same setup. I focus on artillery with range on first two rows, combined with mg-nest, wall and barriers. On row 4/5 two guardian cannons. In the back anti air and sniper unit.

This setups won't save you against same or higher level armies. Most walls are doing nothing and others are hindering useful movement for other units. Anti-tank barriers can be avoided here (and most attackers will). Front lines are vulnerble to orca/venom attacks. A pitbull at the opposite side is just wasting time. If you want to protect the empty side, you can place it at the center (better position to defend both sides). A SAM site two levels under the rest of your defense won't help as much as you intend.
Having a level 44 defense surely protects you against most of the attackers due to its level but the few guys that would like to attack you probably will have at least a 44 level army.
